We, a small group of concerned citizens who taught at the Oyster River High School in Durham, N.H. and who founded and co-organized The Teaching Peace Conferences, where motivated to take action following the July, 20, 2012 Aurora Theater shooting.  As the 2006 recipients of the Sarah Farmer Peace Award ourselves, we organized a gathering of the other 8 recipients to engage interest and harness commitment toward an educational resource for children, youth, teachers, schools, families and community groups.
